Carly Vaughan

Growing up I was a competitive gymnast, followed by all categories of dance. Then I started to try out different sports, to see where my heart lies. I did basketball, tennis, cheer, track, volleyball, and club soccer. By the age of 11, I had turned my attention towards volleyball and have loved it ever since. I have always enjoyed playing volleyball with my mom by my side. In 2023 my mom was diagnosed with a rare breast cancer. It taught me to value the things that I didn’t before. I learned to use my head but play with my heart. I am very outgoing once you get to know me, and I am very coachable. My goal is to go to college for volleyball and medicine. I love being on a team, and having something to look forward to every day, I am genuinely passionate about this and love creating bonds.
