Personal Statement
My name is Carly Gilk and I am a freshman in high school. I have been playing and watching volleyball since first grade and started playing competitively for Synergy Volleyball Club in 4th grade. While my favorite position to play is right side hitter, I really enjoy playing all the way around and have grown to love every position I am asked to play in order for my team to be successful. I am a very focused and determined athlete and no matter the situation I come ready to compete. I have a very big passion for the game which results in me always giving my best so I can contribute on and off the court. My positive mindset, competitiveness, and leadership all factor in to me being a good teammate and a strong competitive athlete.
