Personal Statement
My name is Carly Amato. I am a 2026 midfielder from East Islip, New York. I am a starting midfielder on the East Islip Varsity Lacrosse team and a member of the Yellow Jackets 2026 Torre/Mitchell club team. I am a multi-sport athlete who is not only a starter on the Varsity Lacrosse team but a starting midfielder on the Varsity Field Hockey team and run Varsity Track in the winter. In all sports, the strength in my game is speed, grit and determination. I am a two-way midfielder who excels in transition. Another strength in my game, whether taking the draw or coming off the circle, is my ability to fight for 50/50 possessions. I am extremely coachable and try to learn as much as I can from every coach I have ever played for.
