Personal Statement
I’ve been playing soccer since age 5. I currently play for Stony Brook LGN Soccer Club as well as Ward Melville High School. Throughout my soccer career, I’ve played in almost every position including goalkeeper, defense, and offense. My favorite position to play is striker because I get a better look at the field and all of my teammates. It’s easier for me to make runs and plays off the ball and to connect with my wingers and midfielders going up to goal. I’ve also been a member of the varsity track team since 8th grade. I’m enrolled in honors classes, take two languages, and play the double bass in the school orchestra. I’m looking forward to playing soccer at the collegiate level because of my love for the sport and look forward to observing how a college level team practices and plays.
