Personal Statement
I have always wanted to play and excel at volleyball since the 4th grade when I fell in love with how the game connected people through the competitive and team aspects. I started playing club when I was 12, and have spent countless extra hours in the gym focusing on growing my agility, reaction time, volleyball IQ, and mental toughness. I have played on varsity since my freshman year, receiving the honor of First Team All-Metro sophomore, junior, and senior year. I led my team in aces, digs, and kills during my junior and senior season. My coaches and teammates have told me that I have a strong work ethic, I am coachable and have empathy for others. I do and will work my hardest to achieve my goals and will continue to motivate and support others around me on and off the court.
