Personal Statement

My name is Cameron McCorry. I am currently an Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist for the Men's Varsity Volleyball for Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. I also play for Pipeline Volleyball Club in Schaumburg, Illinois. I have also managed my school's Girls Volleyball Teams since my Sophomore year. Besides volleyball, I am a member of my school's National Honors Society and EGHS Nation, our school sports spirit club. I also work during the Summer as a lifeguard for the Elk Grove Park District. Academically, I have a 4.56 weighted GPA, a 1460 SAT and a 32 ACT. I am currently planning to major in Chemistry. Playing college volleyball has been a goal of mine since Freshman year, so I put in maximum time and effort to improve my skill set.
