Personal Statement
My grandpa James Marcille played on the first ever lacrosse team at Bucknell University from 1962-1966 so he wanted me to play lacrosse from a young age. He took me to the store and bought me my first lacrosse stick at the age of 5 and took me straight to the wall. Ever since I have had a lacrosse stick in my hand it has been my dream to be able to play lacrosse in college, I quit the other sports I had been playing to pursue my dream of playing lacrosse in college and haven’t looked back since. I have been on varsity since my freshman year at Grandview High school in Aurora, CO and have accumulated 72 career points alongside 102 ground balls, I have also been a captain since my sophomore year voted by coaches and teammates while also earning All-Conference Honors and team Transitional MVP
