Caitlyn Graves

When I was in pre-school, I begged my mom every day to pepper with me in the driveway before we left for school. I couldn't wait to turn 7 so I could play rec ball. Once I realized that I come from a long line of short people, I knew defense was going to have to be my jam. Earning Defensive Player of the Tourney for one of my first tournaments sealed the deal. I then started playing club two years earlier than the lowest age group because I excelled in rec ball. I continued playing up for two years then stayed back a year so I could get closer to my age. To this day I play an age group up so I can be sure I am competing at the highest competition that I can get. Playing at this level prepared me for a starting position as a freshman and sophomore at Cox High School.
