Personal Statement
I am competitive and driven. I have had some trauma in my life. When I was 11 years old, my father literally died and had to be resuscitated and put in to a coma. He had less than 1% chance of survival. With God's intervention, he survived. While my carefree childhood may have ended, I learned that nothing is impossible, and as long as you believe in yourself and work hard you can accomplish anything. I try to be the player on the team that can motivate others with humor.This past summer, my Club Coach told me the we were losing our goalie and he asked me to step up and play goalie again. Was there a choice? I needed to help the team in the best way possible To be honest, it is nice playing both offense and defense and it has expanded my value.
