Personal Statement
My name is Cade Young. I play Defensive End at Valor Christian High School. I am also a closing pitcher on our school's varsity baseball team. Growing up in a family with my grandfather and father both being high school coaches, I learned early that I love to compete. I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and moved to Colorado at the age of 14. I have a little brother, Carter, who has a severe disability. He is my hero and I play for him. I love my family, I value my strong academics, and I love to learn, compete, and grow.
