Personal Statement
Volleyball has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I play for my high school and club teams and spend summers playing beach volleyball. But I don’t just love playing—I love giving back. I volunteer as the Boys Volleyball team manager, coach at my high school’s summer camps, and work with Play It Forward, helping bring sports to underserved kids. I’m also part of Unified Buddies, mentoring and playing sports with students of all abilities. Off the court, I’m a student at Lane Tech College Prep, taking all Honors classes. In college, I plan to keep playing while studying Biology, focusing on movement and performance. Volleyball has shaped who I am, and I’m excited for what’s next!
