14 was my jersey number as a freshman on the varsity team. 14 was the age I was when I joined the team. 14 is my angel number signifying …. balance, harmony, temperance and prudence. It also relates to unity and independence and is evidence of enthusiasm coupled with determination. My parents named me Brooke, after a bubbling brook, never standing still, always moving forward, overcoming obstacles or finding ways to navigate around them with a determined smile! …. In short, I needed all of these qualities to prepare me for the BIG move from my home country of South Africa to North Carolina.
