Hello, my name is Brielle Newton. This will be my 5th year playing varsity at Mankato East High school. My first 2 seasons I played defense and filled in playing center when needed. Starting at the end of the summer of 2021 my AAA coach moved me from defense to forward. Starting my 9th grade year I moved to wing and have been playing there since. During the summers I usually move back to center for most games. I have been working hard on my conditioning, strength and my quickness. My coaches have said that I’m very adaptable, consistent in my play and coachable. I try to take in every word my coaches say to me as a way to pinpoint my flaws and improve myself to become a better hockey player and teammate.
