Personal Statement
Hello, I am Avery Newman I’m a 2028 graduate at Goochland High School in Virginia. I have played softball since I was six years old and fell in love with the game. I also started playing volleyball when I was in the sixth grade. I made junior varsity softball and volleyball as an eighth grader. As well I made varsity volleyball during my freshman year and won the most improved player award. I would like to pursue a career in nursing. To help advance that opportunity I am currently CPR and AED certified for the Athletic Training Program. I am also apart of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club (FCA) and the Young Life club.
