Personal Statement
It doesn't matter if I am on a softball field, the karate mat, the basketball court or in a student council meeting, there is always something I can take away from being blessed to be there. Since the age of six, I have loved to play softball and have found it as a place to be my true self. Being a part of highly-competitive teams has taught me sportsmanship, accountability and a winning attitude. Karate has helped me with my focus and improved my self-confidence. Basketball has given me mental and physical endurance. Through student council, I have learned how to be a leader and teach others to want to move to action. All of these skills I will use to succeed at the college level on and off the softball field.
