Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Avery Haracz, and I started my journey with volleyball in 3rd grade. While I joined because of my interest of learning a new sport, I quickly fell in love with the game and the relationships I've made with coaches and players along the way over the past 8 years. Throughout those years I've gained experience as a setter, OH, and DS, but I currently focus my skills on the Libero position for Catawba Ridge High School. Along with volleyball, I spend my time volunteering and I'm a part of the Beta Honors Club. I am said to be a leader on the court by my coaches, and I'm team orientated which led me to become a captain for my high school team. I'm a highly motivated and coachable athlete eager to contribute to a competitive college program.
