Personal Statement
My name is Avery Goebel. I am a 17 year old junior and attend Roosevelt High School. I have been playing club for 2 years. I am mainly a middle blocker, but am versatile to playing outside hitter all-around making me able to pick up any area of play when necessary. I work hard in transition to attack smart and aggressively. Although I have completed in club for only 2 years, my understanding of the game allows me to read the court and anticipate where my teammates need me. I am always open to coach's guidance and desire feedback as to improve my game. I strive to work hard in and off season as to maximize my contribute to the team.
