Personal Statement
I am Avery Brooks and I graduate high school in 2025. I’ve been playing lacrosse for almost my whole life, after being inspired by watching my cousin play in college at Rutgers, although I started playing club in 5th grade. I have a love for all things athletic, as I spend my time playing lacrosse, field hockey, wrestling, or just working at the gym. I also devote some of my time to volunteer coaching youth lacrosse alongside my club coaches. When I’m not doing something involving athletics, I like to spend time with my friends and family, and I’m an avid photographer. I intend to major in political science but have also considered business and marketing.
