Personal Statement
Hi I'm Averie Karaffa. I am 18 years old, and I am an outside and right side hitter this year for Carolina Chaos 18 Royal. I have also played at Concord Academy for the last 2 school seasons, where I played outside and right side hitter. And, I played at Lake Norman Christian for 6 years. There, I played middle blocker, outside hitter, and right side hitter. At Lake Norman Christian, I was nominated for Athlete of the Week in our conference. I had 55 kills, 42 digs, and 7 aces in 3 games for that week. That same year, I was awarded as the offensive player of the season. I fell in love with volleyball at the age of 10, and I want to take volleyball to the next level. As an athlete, I strive to uplift my teammates, be respectful to my coaches, and be coachable.
