Personal Statement
I’m Averi Scott-graduating class of 2026. My primary position is catching and I love being behind the plate. I also play second base and sometimes outfield. Lately, I have been working hard on becoming a successful slapper. I play for Jersey Outlaws 18U Showcase Gutshall and am excited to start high school season this week. To stay fit, I am on the high school swim team in the winter and participate with PowerTrain. In winter of 2023, I qualified for districts in swimming and went to districts with varsity softball and made it to the first round in states. Winter of 2024, I qualified for districts in two individual events and the medley relay and medaled 3rd in the relay. Our relay team will be competing at States later this week.
