Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Avary Whitehead. I have been playing lacrosse since I was in 3rd grade. I started out playing with my town team and grew to love the game, advancing to play with the New Hampshire Tomahawks. In my sophomore year of high school, I made varsity for Bishop Guertin. I have focused on learning skills, technique, and leadership from the All American defensemen ahead of me. This year I am contending for a starting spot on defense. When I am not playing lacrosse I am fishing, surfing, or hiking. I have begun to give my love for the sport to the next generation teaching younger kids the game of lacrosse.
