Personal Statement
Ava Sharp, the crucible of competition. My name is Ava Sharp. I am a pitcher and shortstop for the Texas Bombers WTX 16U National-Devore club team in Amarillo, TX, I am currently a 2025 graduate of River Road High School, where I am a 3-year varsity starter. I've achieved significant milestones, with 150 strikeouts, 100 hits, and 100 runs scored. My accolades include 1st Team All-District Offensive CO-MVP in 2022, and RRHS Defensive Player of the Year in 2022. I've also been honored as 1st Team All-District Pitcher, RRHS Offensive Player of the Year 2023, RRHS CO-MVP in 2023, and Amarillo Globe-News 2023 1st Team Softball Super Team. In addition, I also was recognized as Press PassSports Female Athlete of the Week 2024, RRHS Co-MVP 2024, and 1st Team All-District Pitcher 2024.
