Personal Statement
My name is Ava McCalla and I am a class of 2027 L/DS. I am a sophomore at Covington High School where I have been a two-year varsity starter. MB my freshman year and OH/DS my sophomore year. I have played club volleyball for Memphis Metro Volleyball Club for the past five years and made the club's #1 team every year. I am currently on the 16 Elite Black (16-1) team. I play defense exclusively during the club season. I have a passion for the game, always work hard to get better and I am coachable. Away from volleyball, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and playing golf. I am a Christian and enjoy going to church. I am a youth group, Sunday School and praise team member. I also lead a discipleship group for younger girls moving up into the youth program.
