Personal Statement
My name is Ava Mason a defender OB/CB in the 2026 Class. I play high school soccer for Rutgers Prep in NJ and Club for Cedar Stars Monmouth 07 GA. I also played for PDA Blue 07 ECNL for 4 Seasons. In High School, we won 2 state championships and with PDA I have made it to finals and semi-finals in ECNL. I am also nationally ranked by TDS #139 #8 in Region and #33 Defender Nationally. Although OB is now my primary position , I am very capable and play any of the four back line positions. I consider myself extremely aggressive and technical. My left foot is almost as strong as my right. I have been told I have an extremely high soccer IQ and provide leadership by being vocal on the back line. I pride myself on my tackling and 1v1 defending. I love to win and always put team first. WE > ME
