Personal Statement
My name is Ava Larkin, and I am a 5’11” left-handed setter/opposite playing for Arizona Storm Elite VBC. My entire club volleyball career has been played at Storm on a Thunder team, where I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches in the state, including Terri Spann. I have a true passion for volleyball and consider myself a student of the game, which enables me to improve and make my teammates better. I am a steady leader that works closely with my coaches, takes accountability, and continually encourages my teammates. As a student at Xavier College Preparatory, I take a rigorous course load in preparation for college. Long term, I plan on pursuing a career in medicine, where I hope to become an orthopedic surgeon.
