Personal Statement
My name is Ava. I currently play for Arizona Rising Appel/Hamel 16U out of Arizona. I am a pitcher and 2nd baseman. I also played for Summerlin South Little League in 2021 and 2022 and made it to the World Series both years representing the West. I found a love for softball when I was 7. My dad has always been a big influence. He taught me the importance of hard work, tough skin, and overcoming obstacles. I have worked hard to be a student of the game. I also believe it's important to be a good teammate and a leader. I hope to take these qualities with me wherever I go. I'm hoping to attend a school that pushes me mentally, physically, and helps me to continue to grow as a person.
