Personal Statement
My name is Ava Brown and I will graduate with the Class of 2023. I am a pitcher and outfielder at Canton Mckinley Senior High School (OH). This season, as a sophomore, I earned 2nd Team - Federal League, Honorable Mention - All Northeast Ohio honors and was a statistical leader in many hitting categories and in strikeouts. My batting average was .466 with 7 HR’s, 11 stolen bases, and 18 RBI’s. I struck out 129 batters in 102.2 innings pitched. I play travel ball for the Diamond Chix Blue Premier 05’ team (Ohio) and have a GPA of 3.71. My academic interests are to go into Criminal Justice.
