Personal Statement
Hello I'm Ava Araujo, 17 years old and a 3rd year softball player. I've played baseball starting with tball at the age of 5 and competitive baseball at the age of 8. I stayed playing competitive baseball every season until the age of 14. My Freshman year of HighSchool is where I transitioned to this awesome sport of softball and I love it. I'm currently a junior at Brighton HighSchool where I’ve played my 3rd year Varsity Softball CF for Coach Paula Seifried and I also play for the Firecrackers 18u Gold Gale/Rodriguez softball team. I'm hardworking and committed to everything I do and an awesome teammate, strong player and a high academic student. I work hard everyday and refuse to settle for mediocrity. I look forward and can't wait to play softball at the collegiate level.
