Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Autumn Russell Mathews and I am a rising junior at Reading Memorial High School. I am a defender as well as sometimes a defensive mid. I am originally from Annapolis, MD but recently moved at the end of my freshman year to Reading Massachusetts. I play on Bay State Bullets 2024 Silver. I am a 2 sport varsity athlete and have played both lacrosse and field hockey since I was 5. Both my parents played collegiate lacrosse my dad was an All-American and my mom was an All-American for field hockey. Many people would consider me hardworking and a large presence on the field, as I believe I do a great job communicating especially on the defensive end. When I'm not playing lacrosse I love to spend lots of time with my family and friends as well as be out on the water and travel.
