Aurora Hornbuckle

I’m the youngest of six kids. I live in Georgia but love cold weather. My mom jokes that its my Viking blood from my dad’s side of the family. I started lacrosse in 4th grade and was not very good but I loved the sport and friendships that I made. I put in the work necessary to improve and got to meet more people like me that felt the same way. Winning a hard game with the people you see more than your own family is a special feeling that I love about being a part of a team. I love to see my mates smile when we are out there supporting each other. My coaches say I have a good field IQ, and that I’m a good listener. It’s important to me to never give up. When things seem hopeless its important to keep a positive mind set and remember its never too late to turn things around.
