I began running distance for the first time during the 2024 track season, and I placed 3rd at districts in the 3000m and 2nd in the 1500m, which I then competed in at state, placing 11th with a time of 5:06. This year, I joined the high school cross country team for the first time to help me condition for the upcoming track season. I finished the season as the number 2 varsity on my team, 4th at the district championships with a time of 20:36, and finished the season placing 24th at the 4A state championships with a time of 20:31. I look forward to training for the upcoming track season. I plan to compete at state again, make it onto the podium to conclude my high school running career and begin my collegiate one.
