Personal Statement
I'm born and raised an Oregonian. From an athletic family, basketball was supposed to be my game. Until I attended my cousin's club volleyball tournament, then I knew I needed to try the game! Playing three sports in third grade, I quickly realized my true love for volleyball. Basketball and softball didn't come close. I also consider myself extremely fortunate to be part of a volleyball family--one in club and in high school. I think our values align, education first, but volleyball, community service, and activities following after. We support each other through everything, doing what's necessary to lift each other up in victory.
