Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Ashley Hume and I am a junior at Kettle Run High School. Since my freshman year, I have been a Varsity starter for both softball and basketball. Along with athletics, I am very focused on my academics, and am a straight-A AP student (4.09) and a member of my school's iSTEM academy. I am also an active volunteer in my community, totaling over 50 hours this past year through my pageant platform of pediatric cancer awareness. I am primarily a pitcher and first baseman, however I can play anywhere on the field. From a young age, I have had a passion for playing softball and hope to find a college that can fulfill my dream of playing at the collegiate level.
