Personal Statement
Hello Coaches, My name is Aowyn "AO" Miranda, I am 16 years old. I had played softball since I was 4 1/2 years old. I am currently play for 16U Athletics Mercado- Carlone/Granillo under Head Coach Lana “Moran” Carlone, and for our HS Varsity Team under Head Coach Krista Humphreys. I am a first baseman, a catcher and outfielder as well. I am a left-handed hitter/fielder. I am very versatile on defense/offense, I can bunt, slap, and hit. I am quick in adjusting to what I think is best during the game to help my team win. Currently in my second HS year, I understand how to balance being a student/athlete. My dream is to major in Psychology and become a Child Therapist. I love the game, the competition, and making long-lasting friendships. Thank you
