Anyia Woods

I fell in love with field hockey when I was just three years old while bonding with my mom and learning to play adapted sports. Growing up I played in a recreation league, helped start a club travel team, currently still playing high school on the varsity team, and also belong to a local travel club. I am a four year varsity starter and Senior Captain. I have accepted an offer to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Iowa, and will study Neuroscience and Biomedical Sciences. Go Hawks!!! I am the only Morgan's Message Ambassador for the City of Suffolk, as well as school. Becoming a MM Ambassador has allowed my teammates and classmates to know that they are not alone. I hope to continue being an ambassador for Morgan's Message program in college.
