Personal Statement
My name is Anthony Say, a 6'2", 165-pound goalkeeper with a passion for soccer and a drive to excel. Born in 2008, I’ve developed a sweeper-keeper style with quick footwork, strong communication, and solid ball distribution. I play for Sockers FC Chicago in top leagues like NPL, NAL, Illinois ODP, and MLS Next Futures. My training at Camp Shutout has sharpened my skills, and my physical attributes—76-inch wingspan, 90-inch reach, 30-inch vertical, and 100m speed (11.80s)—help me in goal. I’m a student-athlete at Schaumburg High with a 4.24 GPA, aiming for a future in engineering. Leadership is important to me, seen in roles with Operation Snowball and Student Council. My ultimate goal is to play collegiate soccer while pursuing a degree in engineering.
