Personal Statement
My name is Anna Weathers and I am a catcher and first and 3rd baseman in the graduating class of 2025. I attend Ankeny Christian in Ankeny, IA. On the field, I bring a competitive attitude and I lead the team by example. I prepare myself mentally both before and during the game, by studying the pitcher while they warm up, and by knowing what to do with the ball in any given scenario. Additionally, I played at the varsity level for my high school team, and as a freshman, I was selected for 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-District, and 1st Team All-State. I am ready to play for a university that competes at the highest level of play, and I would like to play for a coach who pushes me to be the best player I can be on and off the field.
