Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Anja and my favorite part of lacrosse is that feeling when I know that I have contributed to my team’s success by creating opportunities for my team and myself by winning the draw, fighting for ground balls, making a great cut, or driving for the score. On defense it is so satisfying to stop the ball, create a turn over, and shut down the other team, especially when I stop a free position! I enjoy both ends of the field and use my patient and consistent play to take advance of my opponents. I am always on the lookout to capitalize when the other team takes their eyes off of me, even for just a second. I am looking for a mid to small size school with an excellent civil engineering program.
