Personal Statement
Ever since I transitioned from playing baseball to lacrosse in the 3rd grade, the sport has been my life. But no matter what field, mat, rink or arena I may play at, I always give it my all. The thing that makes me a good athlete and a good person is my ability to learn. I´m a great problem solver and extremely coachable. When I´m told to do something I will perform to the best of my ability. I can be thrown into new positions and I will do my best to excel. For example, this past winter I went from a varsity wrestler to a first year hockey player where I earned my way to a varsity letter and a Captain position on the hockey team. I would make a great collegiate athlete not just because of my skill, but because I am able to learn and grow into any environment I am thrown in to.
