Ananya Guru

I started playing lacrosse in middle school and quickly fell in love with the sport. I made the JV team my freshman year and won the Best Defensive Player of the Year award. In my sophomore year, I made the varsity team and I was a starting defender. In my junior year, I was awarded Defensive Player of the Year and D1 All-District. I am a tenacious player and I consider myself a coachable and strong defender. I like working hard on my stick skills, physical training, and defensive & offensive plays. I want to continue working on being the best player and teammate for my team and have the same opportunities in college.
