My name is Amishh Thakur, and soccer has been my passion since I was 5 years old. Born in April 2008 in India, I moved to the USA later that year. Over the past 12 years, I’ve played for top clubs like Chicago Fire, FC United, and Sockers FC, developing as a playmaker and team leader under MLS Next coaches. Training 20-30 hours weekly, I’ve honed my sharp technical skills and 360-degree vision, inspired by Kevin De Bruyne’s style of creating scoring opportunities with perfectly weighted passes. With a 3.85 Weighted GPA, I aim to play Division 1 soccer, pursue engineering, win a national championship, and represent the USA or India in the World Cup or play professionally. Soccer has instilled resilience, teamwork, and dedication—qualities I’ll bring to a collegiate program.
