Personal Statement
My name is Amira Brown. I currently play for the VA Glory Jones 16U softball team. I am a catcher, 3rd baseman, and outfielder p, but have experience playing all positions. I am a 9th grader currently enrolled in the engineering pathway at St. Mary’s Ryken High School in St. Mary’s County, Maryland. I am a member of the volleyball team and I am currently in the first semester of my ninth grade year and I plan to tryout for the St. Mary’s Ryken Softball team. In middle school was a member of the National Junior Honor Society and have plans to apply when able to. I am also a current member of the Black Student Union. I am interested in attending college to obtain a degree in engineering. I enjoy baking, playing card games, and babysitting in my free time.
