Personal Statement
Hello, my name is America Griffin. I bring power and precision to every game as a catcher and first baseman. With stats from high school season: A batting average of .584, and a slugging percentage of 1.104, and a throwing speed of 72 mph, I excel as a power hitter and defensive anchor for my team. Honored with an All-Conference award and selected for the Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports All-Star Game, I strive to improve daily as a player and a person. In the past 10 years softball has taught me teamwork, communication, leadership, and how to work relentlessly toward my goals. I plan to pursue a career in welding and or business, blending my passion for hands-on work with strategic thinking.
