Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Amber Hayden. I started playing lacrosse in 4th grade and switched to goalie in 7th grade. I love playing goalie and the challenge of denying goals for the other team. When I'm not on the lacrosse field, you can probably find me on a soccer field or basketball court, both of which I've been playing since elementary school. I play all 3 sports at the varsity level at high school and am captain for lacrosse and basketball. I'm very competitive on the field and will do everything I can to help my team win. A good lesson I've learned is that you have to leave what happens on the field, on the field. Learn from it, improve on it but don't dwell on it.
