Personal Statement
My name is Alyssa Gest and I am from the graduating class of 2022 at Upper Arlington High School in Columbus, Ohio. Playing team basketball has always been my passion since third grade. I take pride in working hard to refine my skills, knowing I can always do better! As a captain on my varsity team in my junior year, through COVID, and the uncertainty of a season, I learned that staying focused and supporting my teammates was essential. It is my goal to play basketball in college while studying sports medicine.
