Alyssa Garcia

Hi, my name is Alyssa Garcia and I am a 2024 5'8" setter and hitter. I attend Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas, where I am a returning Varsity player. My GPA is a 4.0 and I am currently ranked 79/611 in my class. I play club volleyball with SA Juniors 17 National. In 2020, 2021 and 2022 my team earned a Bid to participate at GJNC and at the 2022 GJNC my team tied for 5th place. The highlight was being selected as "All-Star Team". I am a very competitive athlete and enjoy all sports but volleyball is my passion. In school I'm a member of the Peer Assistant Leadership Service program and volunteer at my church with VBS. My leadership, eagerness to improve my skills and commitment to my team/coaches has shaped me to who I am and can't wait to play at the next level.
