Personal Statement
What distinguishes me from other athletes is not skill, but an unteachable factor. I consistently strive to be a leader for my team on and off the court. I have been chosen to be captain for all my travel teams from ages 12 to 15. Additionally, I served as captain in my 8th-grade year of middle school and freshman year of high school. Every time I set foot on the court I show my passion through how I execute my skills and how I cheer on my team. I am willing to learn from any coach on how I can be my absolute best. I bring my best self to the court knowing not only does it help my game, but can also uplift one of my teammates. Making mistakes throughout your career does not define the player you are. It is the actions you make after that does.
