Personal Statement
My name is Aly Skagen and I am a class of 2025 Outside Hitter. My goal is to play volleyball at the college level while earning a degree. I know it will take hard work, being coachable, being dedicated, and having a true love of the game. I am excited for that challenge and believe I will bring all of these qualities to a college program. I play on my school’s varsity team and was named to the NPSL 4A All League First Team for OH. I am a six rotation OH on my club team. I love all aspects of this game, from the social side of being part of a team to the competitive side of always learning and growing. Academics are very important to me. I have a 3.9 GPA and take a variety of academic and electives, including honors classes. In the future, I would like to study psychology.
