Personal Statement
I have been playing competitive travel baseball since I was 8 years old and now, I am preparing to enter high school in the Fall. Baseball has always been my passion and I truly love playing and learning the sport. My hope is to have many more years on the field playing this sport, and also it is opening up doors for my future. I come from a long line of baseball in my family being that my grandfather is in the National Baseball Hall of Fame (Orlando Cepeda), my great grandfather (Pedro Cepeda) was nicknamed the “Babe Ruth of the Caribbean” and my father (Ali Cepeda Sr) also played minor league baseball for the San Jose Giants (SF Giants affiliate).
