Personal Statement
On May 15, 2024 my life changed forever when I lost three of my fingers on my left hand. I thought “I’ll never get to play lacrosse again” as I was rushed to the hospital. Yet 66 days later I was back on the field & scored my first goal as an amputee. Since then I’ve been engaged in a sports rehab program so I can start my varsity season stronger than ever. I was elected captain of my JV team & play for Grizzly Lacrosse. Off the field you’ll find me at the gym or skiing. I also like traveling - last year I visited Iceland. Academically, I am interested in studying political science. I have also always had a love for history and am taking AP US History this year. Overall you will find that I am extremely resilient, positive, & dedicated to the sport of lacrosse.
